koncentrovanjem čestica veličine do 20 μm .

The team of the Institute of Public Health in Sombor, which participates in the realization of the IPA Project Minimizing CROssborder water contamination of microPLASTICS-Microplastics HUSRB/23R/12/089, took part in an international joint sampling event organized as part of a training workshop on sampling microplastics in drinking water . The workshop was held on October 9, 2024. in Székesfehérvár in Hungary at a local water treatment plant.

The event was organized by the MicroDrink Project  team, which deals with microplastics in drinking water, and was led by Eurofins.

During the event, the microplastic sampling process in accordance with the EU was demonstrated according to the guidelines of the Drinking Water Directive 2020/2184, by filtering at least 1000 L of water with and concentrating particles up to 20 μm  in size. The aim of the workshop was to acquire knowledge and experience on the collection of parallel reference samples and field Blanc samples which are used as a means of quality control between laboratories.
